Built Where Winter Eats Metal
Northeastern Exhaust makes headers, mid-pipes, mufflers, and full systems for cars and trucks that live where the roads get salted five months a year. We started in a two-bay shop replacing rotted factory exhaust for people who couldn’t justify dealer prices on a ten-year-old daily driver — and got tired of watching cheap replacement pipes rust through in a season and a half. So we started building our own. Everything we sell is 304 stainless, welded and pressure-checked here, and specced to bolt on without a shop visit and a fabricator’s bill.
Anybody can build an exhaust that looks good in a garage in Arizona. Up here it’s brine on the pavement in November, slush packed into the underbody all winter, and a spring thaw that finds every seam you cut corners on. That’s why we don’t do aluminized steel, and why our welds are back-purged instead of just capped and shipped. It costs us more per unit. It’s also the difference between a system you install once and a system you install every three years.
Most of what we make is a direct replacement — same hanger locations, same flange pattern, same sensor bungs as the factory part. You shouldn’t need a lift, a torch, and a friend who owes you a favor to put an exhaust on your truck. We publish real dimensions and clearance specs on every product page, and if something doesn’t line up the way we said it would, that’s on us and we’ll make it right.

Built to Outlast the Salt
“Third winter on the stainless cat-back and there isn’t a spot of surface rust on it. My last system was rotted through at the flange after two seasons of Route 7 in February.”
Dave M.
“I brought in a ’99 4Runner with a hole you could hear three blocks away. They welded in a new mid-pipe the same afternoon and matched the bends so it tucks up exactly like factory.”
Marissa T.
“We run six delivery vans and they’ve handled every exhaust job for four years now. Nobody else around here will give you a straight quote over the phone and then actually stick to it.”

Questions Answered
Most orders leave the warehouse within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery within the continental US typically arrives in 3–7 business days, while expedited options are available at checkout. A tracking number is sent by email as soon as the package ships.
Every listing includes a compatibility chart covering year, make, model, and engine size. Matching those details against the vehicle registration or door jamb sticker is the fastest way to confirm fit. When a configuration falls outside the listed range, the support team can check it directly.
Bolt-on kits are designed as direct replacements and can be installed at home with basic hand tools and a jack stand setup. Anything involving welding, cutting, or sensor relocation is better handled by a certified shop. Instructions and hardware are included with each kit.
Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Once the return is received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Return shipping costs are covered when the item arrives damaged or an incorrect part was sent.
Rinsing away road salt and grime during winter months prevents surface corrosion, especially around welds and clamps. Stainless steel finishes respond well to a non-abrasive metal polish, and hardware should be re-torqued after the first 100 miles of driving.
Coverage runs against defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date. Normal surface discoloration from heat, damage from road debris, and issues caused by improper installation fall outside the warranty. Proof of purchase is required for any claim.
